We made aNewJob because writing a resume is hard, and most tools either charge a monthly subscription or fill the page with experience you don't have. What is the Smart Engine?

The part that turns your documents into a resume.

Smart Engine is our name for the AI system behind every aNewJob resume, cover letter and mock interview. It pairs leading AI language models with our own resume-writing instructions and checks, tuned to do one job well: write a strong resume from your real experience, without making anything up.

    Reads everything you upload

    Old resumes, Word files, PDFs, LinkedIn exports and photos of certificates or notes. Text is pulled out of images too, then sorted into jobs, dates, skills and education.

    Finds the gaps

    It compares what it found with what recruiters look for: results, numbers, team sizes, tools. Anything missing or vague becomes a question.

    Asks you about them

    You answer a short form or talk it through in the guided chat. It only asks what it needs, so most people finish in about ten minutes.
