1. Eligibility

To use aNewJob.com, you must:

• Be at least 16 years old
• Have the legal authority to enter into these Terms
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Account Registration

We use passwordless email authentication.

To create an account:

• You provide your email
• We send you a temporary login code
• You enter the code and access your dashboard

You agree to:

• Provide a valid email you control
• Not share your login code with others
• Not attempt to bypass authentication systems

We may suspend or terminate accounts for suspicious or abusive activity.

3. Use of the Service

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use aNewJob.com solely for personal, non-commercial job-seeking purposes unless otherwise approved.

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, copy, or modify the Service
• Use the Service to create competing products
• Upload harmful, illegal, or malicious content
• Attempt to disrupt servers or infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape or misuse the platform
• Misrepresent information within resumes or documents

We reserve the right to monitor and restrict usage that threatens system stability or violates our policies.

4. AI-Generated Content

aNewJob.com uses third-party AI models to:

• Extract resume data from uploaded files
• Generate resume content
• Ask clarifying questions
• Improve or rewrite text you provide

You understand and agree that:

• AI outputs may contain errors or inaccuracies
• You are solely responsible for reviewing and editing all AI-generated content
• AI outputs are not guaranteed to result in employment or interview invitations
• You must not rely on AI-generated information as professional, legal, or career advice
• AI content is provided "as-is" without warranty.

5. Payments

Some parts of the Service (such as resume generation or add-ons) require payment.

When purchasing:

• All prices are listed in USD
• Payments are final and non-refundable unless required by law
• We process payments through compliant third-party processors (e.g., Stripe, Paddle, etc.)
• We may modify prices with reasonable notice

If you disagree with updated pricing, your remedy is to discontinue using the paid feature.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload or create ("User Content"). This includes:

• Uploaded documents
• Resume data
• Answers to questions
• Chat messages
• Edited resume content

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

• Process your content with AI models
• Store your content to provide your resume
• Display it back to you through the dashboard/editor
• Generate PDFs and DOCX files
• Improve platform performance (in aggregate, anonymous form only)

We do not sell your data.

You are responsible for ensuring:

• Your content is accurate
• You have the right to upload it
• It does not violate any laws or copyrights

7. Data Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that by using the Service, you consent to the data practices described there.

8. Uploaded Files & Storage

Uploaded files (PDF, DOCX, images, text) are temporarily stored to extract data and generate resumes.

You agree that:

• Files may be processed using third-party AI tools
• Files may be automatically deleted when you delete your resume or account
• Files are not permanently archived by us

We are not responsible for loss of data caused by accidental deletion, corruption, or user error.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in abusive or fraudulent behavior
• You attempt to harm the Service or other users
• You upload harmful or illegal content
• Required by law or security concerns

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting contact@anewjob.com or deleting your account from your dashboard (if available).

Upon termination:

• Your account and resume data may be deleted
• You lose access to all generated documents
• We are not liable for loss of data after termination

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including:

• Software
• Design
• Logos
• Templates
• AI prompts
• PDFs/DOCX generation code
• Branding and website content

Except for the rights explicitly granted, no other rights or licenses are provided.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE."

We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be error-free
• AI content will be accurate
• Resume results will meet job application requirements
• You will receive interviews or job offers
• The Service will be available without interruptions

You use the Service at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

aNewJob.com and its owners, employees, agents, or partners are not liable for:

• Loss of employment opportunities
• Inaccuracies in AI-generated content
• Loss of data or files
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Damages resulting from reliance on resume content
• Unauthorized access to your account
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Maximum liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you in the last 12 months.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations—those limits may not apply to you.

13. Third-Party Services

We integrate third-party providers such as:

• Email delivery (Resend)
• AI models (OpenRouter, OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
• Analytics and hosting providers

We are not responsible for the content, policies, or reliability of third-party services.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be posted on the website.

By continuing to use the Service, you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
